Norfolk Botanical Garden
The Brock Entry Pavilion redefines arrival at the Norfolk Botanical Garden with a light-filled, walk-in experience that opens visitors directly to the landscape. Conceived as a welcoming experience as well as a civic gathering place, the Pavilion supports daily visitation, including a full-service bistro and wine bar, while flexing seamlessly into evening use for events and community programming. As Designer of Record, Dills Architects leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver a highly coordinated project integrating architecture, landscape, structure, and environmental performance. Native plantings and rain gardens frame a footbridge spanning a stormwater pond that functions as both infrastructure and experience. Material choices reinforce durability and stewardship, creating a carefully crafted threshold that sets the tone for the Garden of Tomorrow.
