About Dills Architects

Dills Architects was founded in 1983 by Dan Dills who, as an enlisted man in the Army working on building projects in Europe during World War II, well understood that design is an act of civic responsibility—one that must serve the present while anticipating what the future will require. Dan developed a discipline grounded in technical rigor and buildable solutions that continues to shape the ethos of the Dills’ practice. Today, Dills Architects serves as stewards of the possible through the discovery and activation of the best of people and places in the public realm, guiding clients through strategic planning and goal-driven decisions that balance cost and long-term value.
