Rudee Park

Virginia Beach, VA

Type:

Civic + Cultural

Client:

City of Virginia Beach

Rudee Park emerged from a close, on-the-ground understanding of how people move through and experience Virginia Beach’s coastline. Located on the city’s last remaining undeveloped oceanfront parcel, the park prioritizes public access to the water while balancing events, daily use, and ecological care. A pavilion, elevated walkway with unobstructed ocean views, and integrated amenities extend comfort and access while protecting sensitive systems. Designed as a beautiful, welcoming landscape, the park invites residents and visitors alike to walk, gather, and spend time at the water’s edge.
